Baby Parker~ Week 7

We stated week 7 yesterday. Up till Saturday night I was feeling great. Tired but getting used to that also. Saturday me,my dad, Carrie and Jaden went to the Jumping place in Winder to jump for a few hours. After we left there we had McDonald's for lunch. Then that night I went to Clays parents house and we had Rocky's pizza. I wasn't all that hungry but knew I had to eat. I hadn't eaten in several hours. I regretted eating ANYTHING about an hour later. I felt horrible. Went home and went to bed and woke up Sunday morning feeling alittle better. Once again..wasn't hungry but knew I had to eat. Sunday I felt alright but yesterday is when it hit like a ton of bricks. I felt horrible. Then this morning it was worse. Deep down inside I hate to complain about being sick. I feel like I should be very thankful for morning/all day sickness. That means a healthy baby. Maybe this is God's way of teaching me to look on the positive of things. Also how to control my tongue and not complain. Hopefully we will get this under control. Right now Sunny D and clementines(sp?). They help the nausea.

Backing up a few days to Sunday. It went great. Everyone at church was so happy for us. I was shocked that everyone didn't know. Preacher and Mrs. Sue Ann didn't even know. Preacher has been teaching the teens SS for a few weeks. Before he began his lesson he said " Clay and Anna do you have anything you want to share"..Clay replied and said " There is going to be a new addition to the youth group..Anna is with child!" All the teens in unison " Aww". I was very sweet. Its so strange to think sometimes that I grew up in that youth group, became a leader, then a "worker"..married in the youth group, and now bringing forth a child! STRANGE! So anyway. Then a few people her and there were saying congratulations to us. Sunday night in Preachers sermon he used Clay as an illustration. Saying Clay could be a good husband and daddy..then he said " Yall know Clay and Anna is gonna have a baby". He even said it would be adorable! It was so sweet of him to say that! When God first laid it on our hearts to start trying the first thing out of my mouth was " What are people going to say!". God handled it. Not one single negative comment. Thank you Lord. All in his timing.

Only 13 more days until we get to see our miracle. We are so excited. Some of you guys may not know. We have a pretty good chance of having twins. There are 5+ sets on Clays side and 2 or more on my side. We really want twins. Clays brother had two babies and no twins. My sister didn't have the twins. Maybe we will. We would love twins. Well I would, assuming Clay would too! ;) I do know that God will give you the desires of your heart. So maybe!!!!!!!!!!!!! For the first ultrasound right now it is just me and Clay. My sister might go with me since I went to hers. Not sure.

We have already been faced with some of the big baby questions..
1. Who is going to keep the baby?
2. Are you going to continue to work?
3. Names!
4. What room are you going to use?
5. Who's going to be in the delivery room?
All of those questions will be answered as the time approaches! NOT NOW! HA!

As you can tell I have also been very moody. Especially when I am not feeling so hot. Clay has been great about just stepping aside when those moments happen. Hes been very understanding. Hopefully this wont get any worse.

Its time for a snack..I'm going to go! I will update some pictures later. Have a nice day

Announcing Baby Parker!!

Baby Parker will be making his/her appearance July 2011!!!!!!!!!!!

Never in a million years would I have guessed that, 11 months after I got married that I would be pregnant. God had other plans. So this is how the story goes;

In January God laid it upon my ( Anna) heart for us to start trying to conceive.Just being transparent,in the beginning I questioned God.Why in the world do we need to even think about a baby now?We were obedient and began the process. It was exciting at first..but then no fun getting a negative test 10 months in a row.

We went to the OB Doctor November 5, to talk with her about why we hadn't been successful. She was very nice and willing to answer ALL our questions. While we were there she scheduled us to come back November 22, for an ultrasound to check for Endemetriosis and Poly Cystic. Also we scheduled an appointment for January to talk with the infertility Doctor. After we left the doctor we had our heads high..and could see some light at the end of this loooooong tunnel. We had found out shortly after the Doctor's visit that Clays insurance plan DID NOT cover ANY infertility treatment. I then lost it. I didn't understand why God would "call" us to be parents and then place this HUGE mountain in front of us. We then realized that God's timing was perfect. We no longer wanted Baby Parker on our time but God's. When we LET GO AND LET GOD, is when everything fell into place.

Finally the week of November 15th I was cramping but never "started". I told myself not to get all worked up, that this time was probably another negative. The cramping continued. I remembered Sara saying when they first got pregnant that the same thing was happening to her. I got alittle excited. I convinced myself into taking the test. The morning of November 18 I got up and took the test. I was up all night praying and telling God that if it was negative again that was OK. I wanted his timing!!! I took the test...sat there..and here it came..TWO BRIGHT PINK LINES! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!!! I stood at the bathroom counter and just cried. I walked out of the bathroom and was crying..looked at clay and said..WERE GONNA HAVE A BABY!!!!!!! He jumped up and down, screamed, cried, and then we stopped and Thanked our Almighty God. We were so thankful that God had chosen this time and no other time. How awesome to find out 7 days before Thanksgiving that we were going to be parents! We were just in utter SHOCK to begin with. We were excited but also all the other emotions come rolling in. Parents?!?!? Wow..are we ready for this? No turning back now. It was awesome to call the OB back to cancel those appointments. The nurse asked why and I said " God provided us with a baby". I was great to finally say that!

We told each other on that day we were going to wait until Christmas Day to tell everyone. The more we thought about it we decided we couldn't wait that long. We told our good friend Jo Jo,Clay's boss Ronnie, my best friend Hannah Hardy, and Zach,Sara, and Liam all on Friday. Through out the weekend we also told..Jessica,Tiffany,Mrs. Deborah,Jenna,Justin, Russell and Kristen, and a few others. They were sworn to secrecy. We had then decided to tell my parents and Clays parents Thanksgiving Day. We are going to write BABY or something along those lines on a Pumpkin Pie. I have no idea what their reaction is going to be. I don't think my mom has realized shes having ONE Grand baby..now TWO! Another thing as far as God's timing, Sara is Due in February and my Dads birthday is Feb 16. Then we are due July and my moms birthday is July 16. What an awesome God!

As far as me..I am feeling great. I haven't been sick. No morning sickness. I have had some very weird dreams and sleepless nights. We go to the Doctor December 13 to see the baby for the first time. We pray everything looks great.

We are so very thankful for God's timing. Through one of the hardest storms of my life God was still faithful. Even though we didn't see the WHOLE picture he did. We give HIM all the glory and honor for this MIRACLE he has given us.

Here are a few pictures..I will post pictures and a blog about how everyone took the news!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Be thankful!!!!!
 Love,
Clay, Anna , and Baby Parker!

Halloween 2010

Happy Late Halloween!!!
We had a great but very busy Halloween. It all started Friday night. We have attended the Annual "Sutton Halloween Party" for 3 years now. Jo Jo ( one of our very good friends)..his Grandmother lives in Winder and decorates her house for Halloween like a lot of people do for Christmas..OVER THE TOP! She decorates for weeks and it always looks sooo pretty. Anyway, we went to that Friday night and had so much fun. Clay and Jo Jo decided to dress up as Bert & Earnie..it was a hit. Here are a few pictures..

Needless to say...we had a great time this year. It was fun dressing up. "Nanny" ( Jo Jo's grandmother)..creates a trail that all the grand kids are supposed to go hide in a be the scare people. It was funny watching them scare..they do a great job.
The best part of the night...We all took a hayride through the woods and dodged many branches and trees along the way. Half way through the adventure in the dark we realized he tractor sure does feel bumpy. After further investigation Bert and Earnie realized that the tire was completely flat and the rim was showing. There we at least 25 people on this hayride in the middle of the woods. People from ages 5-105 ;) and we were NOT walking back. So we all stayed on and ride back with a flat tire. Some of he older people got off and rode in the car. It was sooo funny watching everyone try and scream at the Driver of the tractor to stop so we could get off. The louder we screamed the fast he went..he thought we were screaming because we were scared. Anyway..it was an overall great night..getting home about 145AM!

Then Saturday our Halloween Festivities continued with Mama and Daddy having people over from their Sunday School class for a weenie roast and hayride. We had about 40 people there. Lots of cute kids and HUUUUGE Mash mellows. I forgot to mention...Jaden that we used to keep..him and his mom came and visited for the weekend. We had so much fun getting to talk to Carrie and it felt like she was apart of our family. I felt like I had known her my whole life. She has really don't good with Jaden. Shes given her life to the Lord and knows he is the answer. Not other worldly things!

Sunday we really celebrated!!!! We had a great day at Church. Me and Clay had nursery with 13 toddlers. It was so much fun. I KNOW Clay is going to make a great dad one day. He is so good with all those kids. Hes great with the discipline when needed and the laughter when needed. Hes great all around. Sunday after Church everyone came over and had wonderful home cooked meal. Napped and then went Trick R Treating with Spiderman ( Jaden) and had a blast with that also. We went alittle early but still collected some candy. Sunday night we had our Fall Festival at church. It gets better and better every year. Bert and Earnie decided to make another appearance..the kids loved and hated it. Some kids really thought it was them..and others were terrified. One little girl I remember came up to Clay ( Bert) and raised her arms up for Clay to pick her up. It was sweet.Another thing to confirm hes gonna be a great day some day!Check out the pics..

That's all the Halloween we have in us!

I do want to wish my first Niece a very Happy Birthday...Abigail Grace turns 4 today! Love you Abba G!

A mixture of things..

It's been awhile since we posted last. Things have been good and bad in our life the past few weeks. We are finally rolling with our Middle Schoolers at church. We average between 6-10. We took 4 boys and 1 girl to Stevie B's Sunday after church..WHAT A DAY!!!! I guess I'm not used to being around boys as much..they don't stop..and they eat and eat and eat. Clay and I love each and everyone of them and are very excited to see what God's going to do in their life!

Today is an exciting day..we have been married for 10 months today! WOW..What a journey it has been. Fun,trying, tested, learning time it has been. I thank God for Clay and what kind of man and husband he is becoming. Sometimes its not easy..but those times got us where we are today!!!!

A lot of people have asked about my Grandmother. She is doing OK. She has a good day and then maybe a few bad days. Her speech is getting pretty slurred. She will call to talk and you cant understand anything she says. I know its hard on my Grandfather to try and understand her all day. Please pray for him..for mercy with her and strength to face everyday. If you have a chance please go to my grandmothers website, sign the guestbook just to let her know that's shes not forgotten about!!Here is the link to her page..!

Last Monday I woke up around 6:30 to get ready to head to work. When I stood up out of the bed..I was EXTREMELY dizzy. Like I had never been before. I have never been or care to be drunk in my life..but I was stumbling around and just really didn't know where I was. I took a shower and when I got our things were worse. So Clay and I decided that we should probably head to the ER. By now I was having a killer headache, nausea, and dizzy. So we packed up and headed to Athens Regional. About 2 hours later the ER Dr. diagnosed me with vertigo. Simply meaning being dizzy often. Which leads back to me having that very intense ear infection about 3 weeks ago. It cleared up but left fluid behind BOTH my ears. The fluid aggravates some nerve in my ear that goes to my brain. That one nerve controls your balance..the fluid was aggravating the nerve and telling my brain that I was spinning when my body knew I wasn't. Very weird!!!So he gave me some good meds and knocked me out M-W. I followed up with my Family Dr. Tuesday and he agreed. He gave me meds to take care of my new ear infection in my left ear. I am meeting with an ENT in a few weeks so that he can look deeper to FIX the problem..instead of just covering it up. I was out of work the whole week. Kelly (the mom of the twins)..was very very generous and understood that it was nothing I could do about the situation. I was great to be able to relax and get well instead of trying to play it off. I haven't had a really bad dizzy spell in a few days. So praise the Lord, I think I am healing. We will keep you posted on my ear issues!

I am back in full swing with the twins. I came back yesterday and about cried when I seen them. I missed them soooo much. When they saw me their faces lite up and they gave me huuge smiles!!! Sweet girls!

Mommy and Daddy Gillespie are going today to check on little Liam. Shes 20 weeks today. Doing great and growing everyday. He will be here before we know it. Continue to pray for Sara for the remaining weeks of the pregnancy for no complications. We started last week on Liams bedding. It is ADORABLE. Giraffe print..Red..and some polka dots. It is very difficult but we are soo proud of it. To by something custom made like this runs around $300. We are going to make it for approx $100. Huge savings!!!Here are a few pics..

FINISHED 1 Side of the bummer!!

Well I better run and go love on some precious babies. Have a great week..and remember..God didn't promise a smooth sailing but he did promise a smooth landing!!!!

I didn't realize that I hadn't blogged in a while.
I have very exciting news. We went Tuesday and found out that "Baby Gillespie"..is now...Liam Brabson Gillespie! It's a boy %110. He was spread eagle. It was so much fun for me,clay, mama, daddy.Hanna, Laurie,Tim,Zach, and Sara to all go and watch Liam turn flips for us! It was very cool. The last ultrasound that I went to he was just a little gummy bear.. He has already grown so much!! We are very excited to get the nursery going and also BABY SHOPPING! Here are a few pictures from the event!

I am so excited to meet him in a few short months. I already love this kid and never even met him. I can only imagine how excited Zach and Sara are since they are his PARENTS! Me,Mama, and Sara are going to the Yellow Daisy Festival tomorrow, and afterwards we are going LIAM SHOPPING!!!!!

What an awesome weekend..

So we had a great but yet busy weekend. Friday night we joined some of our teens at Stone Mountain to watch this new awesome laser show. Lack to research led to us getting there and the lady telling us there was no laser show! WHAT?!?!? So we paid and went in and ate some yummy Little C pizza, boys played football, and girls talked and talked! :) It was a great night even without the laser show!

Saturday morning we finally got to sleep in. We haven't had a Saturday like that in awhile. It was so nice. So we finally got up around 10. Clays cousin Stephanie was getting married at 2:00...so we quickly ate breakfast and got ready to go. She was a stunning bride..a very pretty wedding and beautiful, in love couple. We caught up with my BFF H.H. Hardy and some of Clays family. Here are a few pics from the day!

Then...Saturday was also Sara's 3 year Cancer Free Anniversary. What a journey we have been on. Only through God's faithfulness did we make it this far. We thank God for Sara and all she has become. We also cant wait till Feb when little Butter bean arrives!!!
So we were all supposed to meet at FATZ in Winder at 6:30 to go out for her party. So me and Clay got there and walked around the corner and there were 20 people standing and said SURPRISE!!!! My wonderful, selfless sister had planned me a Surprise 21st Birthday party (2 weeks late).I was SHOCKED! It was awesome. As I have said in the past..I am all about my birthday. It was great getting to see everyone and almost reliving my birthday again!!!!!Here are a few pics from the party...

We had so much fun. I want to thank everyone for coming and everyone that celebrated TWICE!!

Overall it was a great weekend. Looking forward to a great week.
Also, we will be celebrating out 9 month wedding anniversary this coming up Sunday!!!!! WOW!!

Girls VS Boys!!!!

So the phrase GIRLS RULE BOYS DROOL...is so true! We have had a summer program going on with the kids at church. The past few weeks it has been a competition to see which could bring in the most money. Whichever team brought in the LEAST had to be SLIMED!!!! It was a head to head competition the whole time. The last week the BOYS ended up loosing. So therefore "Mr. Clay" and Pastor Julio had to be SLIMED! It was so much fun. Julio's wife ,Jeanne and myself decided that it was only fair if we slimed them since we were the girls that would have been slimed. So we do..here are a few pictures!!!!!!
Some of the kids and the teens that helped lead!!

Dedicated Husbands!!!!
We had a blast doing this! We are proud of the kids for raising so much money to help a family in our church!!!

Have a BLESSED weekend for we are NOT promised tomorrow!!!
